In 1924, a young man named Thomas Bahnson Stanley realized a long-held dream when he founded Stanley Furniture Company. From the beginning, the Stanley goal was to manufacture high quality furniture at a price the average American family could afford. To accomplish that goal, Mr. Stanley surrounded himself with the finest furniture craftsmen and instilled in them a sense of pride in building superb quality into every Stanley product. Those original craftsmen passed on their knowledge and their unique sense of pride to each generation of Stanley craftsmen.
